LIFE LONG DEMOCRAT

I am Briana Cartwright, a lifelong Democrat and the descendant of a Michigan State Senator who served 18 years in the legislature. The Legislations he presented helped to create new colleges and effective economic development programs for the great state of Michigan.

Growing up in Detroit, I witnessed the impact of labor unions on families and communities. This led me to obtain a degree in labor law from Cornell University. I currently apply my legal education to help economically challenged communities.

Bringing The Fight

for Inclusion

Heading into the election, we are laying the critical infrastructure to win. Here are some efforts you need to know about:

  • Targeting New Universes of Unregistered Voters
  • Raising Grassroots Funds for Candidates
  • Investing and Organizing in the Black Community
  • Reaching Base Voters
  • National Trainings and Creating a Pipeline of Young Talent
  • Voter Education and Protection

Help power these efforts.

A strong voice for

democrats across this country

I have led protests with United Auto Workers in solidarity with the disenfranchised workers at Nissan USA plant in Canton Mississippi.

Traveled to Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Ohio to get out the vote.

Drafted and passed a resolution in Florida supporting the Fight for 15 efforts which urged all Democrats to stand alongside workers by supporting legislation that ensures every Floridian has the right to earn a livable wage.
